With that upgrade they also pointed where all the connections to the Pirate Bay tracker come from. The map charts the origin of the users who are connecting to The Pirate Bay's trackers.
According to the map, most of the “online pirates” are Chinese that is 25.43% (as of today). The percentage of connection is calculated in real time. The flames show hot spots that means a high percentage of connections. As the marker color goes lighter, the percentage of connection goes lower. Snowflakes indicates close to 0%.
