Lite-On announced that they will release their fastest DVD writer this year. The new models having a speed of 24x is also packed with Lite –On LabelTag technology. LabelTag is PLDS patented new feature that allows users to create circular label at the data side of the disc. Label tag will work on almost all standard DVD-Rs. Beside Label tag it is also acquires the LightScribe technology that allows users to print label on the disc on special LightScribe compatible disc. SmartErase is also included on the new models. No price yet but the new models. The iHAS324 (with SmartErase) and is available from April 2009. The iHAS624 (LabelTag and LightScribe drive with LabelTag will be available from May 2009.
